John McCarthy BSc (Hons) MSc PhDPrincipal Scientist John has fifteen years experience commercializing biotechnology products. He has successfully managed the in-house product development activities for biotech start-up groups, including significant co-development and OEM supply work. John has managed the set up of effective product development, manufacturing and quality system (ISO13485) activities and has experience in the development of diagnostic products, and the development of research tools for the medical biotechnology industry. John has worked in conjunction with Invetech, Millipore, Sigma-Aldrich, Dow Corning and Shimadzu and has successfully co-ordinated multi-functional international teams to deliver competitive products into the market place. He has a solid understanding of good business practice and strong scientific background in biochemistry and molecular biology. |
